🚫 Pinter Not Pouring? Here’s How to Fix It
If your Pinter has stopped pouring, don’t worry — there are a few quick checks and fixes you can try at home. Follow this guide to figure out what’s going wrong and how to get back to pouring pints.
🛠 Let’s Troubleshoot
Depending on whether your Pinter is full or nearly empty, the cause might be different. Use the guide below to figure it out.
If Your Pinter Is Empty:
1. Check the Tap’s Internal Mechanism. Look at the small cross-shaped piece at the back of the Tap. It should move in and out when you pull the handle.
❌ If it doesn’t move, the internal cone may have become detached, please record a short video showing the handle being pulled and the cross not moving, then contact Customer Support.
If Your Pinter Is Still Full:
If your Pinter started pouring but then stopped, it might be due to low internal pressure.
As your Pinter gets low, the internal pressure also drops. To pour the final few pints: Turn the Carbonation Dial on the back to “Open” — this helps release the last of the beer when pressure is low.
If this hasn't solved the problem, here’s what to check:
Pull the Tap Handle firmly a few times while the Tap is still attached.
This can help dislodge small blockages without wasting your Pinter Pack.Do you remember if the trub inside the Brewing Dock was thick like syrup? If yes, this could be a sign of unmixed Fresh Press. Please get in touch with our Customer Support team.
