What is the Hopper?Updated 8 days ago

Hopper is a small vial of hop oil that allows you to have freshly-hopped Beer and Cider at home for the first time.
The Hopper can be used during the Brewing stage to add a burst of hops to your Brew whilst it is in the Pinter, maximising freshness before you tap. It was developed exclusively for the Pinter, for an unparalleled sensory drinking experience and more next-level fresh flavours than ever before.

How and When to use the Hopper

You should add the Hopper after the Brewing stage is complete, but before you remove the Brewing Dock.

If your Hopper has been stored at a low temperature, allow it to warm to room temperature before adding it. This ensures proper flow and infusion of the hop oil.

Follow these steps:

  1. Unscrew the Hopping Cap

  2. Screw the Hopper fully and securely into the Hopping Inlet

  3. Wait for around 3 minutes to allow the hop oil to start infusing

  4. Remove the Hopper carefully

  5. Gently tilt your Pinter from side to side. This helps release any air bubbles around the Hopping Inlet and encourages the hop oil to drain fully into the brew

  6. Screw the Hopping Cap back on

  7. Remove the Brewing Dock, then proceed to the Conditioning stage as usual
